On Wednesday June 24, Florida reached its all time record daily high with 5,511 positive cases of COVID-19.
The Florida Department of Health’s reported cases beat the all time high which was Saturday at 4,049.
According to the Florida DOH’s dashboard there are now a total of 109,014 positive cases across the state. Of those cases, 106,743 are residents and 2,271 are non-residents.
There were 53 new deaths reported on Wednesday, bringing the state’s total deaths from the novel coronavirus to 3,281. In the Tampa Bay area, 1,629 cases were reported which equals 29.5% of the new total cases. 708 of those are located in Hillsborough County.
Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties have implemented MANDATORY MASKS while in public places where social distancing is not possible. If caught not masking-up, you could get a $500 fine.
