CNBC: El Chapo Sentenced Life In Prison

Tampa, Fla– Drug Kingpin, El Chapo got sentenced to life in Prison during his court hearing on July 17, 2019 in Brooklyn, NY.

Chapo was also demanded to surrender 12.6 billion dollars. However, sources do not know where or how the money will be disbursed.

Previously, the Kingpin was convicted due to leading an operation that channeled large amounts of methamphetamine and heroine into the United States. This particular trial had a duration of three months and just ended in February 2019.

Following the trial Chapo made a statement “Since the government will send me to jail where my name will not ever be heard again, I take this opportunity to say, there was no justice here.”

As El Chapo’s drug past is compelling, he has become one of the top drug lords in society today. He is the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel where he has produced billions of dollars. The Sinaloa Cartel is the top drug trafficking ring in the entire Western Hemisphere.

Chapo is well known for his intelligence and abilities to get past authorities while on the run and in prison.
