George Zimmerman, acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, is now suing Martin’s family for $100 million.
Zimmerman claimed self-defense when he shot and killed 17-year-old Martin back in 2012.
The lawsuit was set to be filed Wednesday in Polk County, Florida.
Grounds of the lawsuit allege that the key witness for the prosecution was a “fake witness” that was coerced into testifying that she was in fact Martin’s girlfriend, and on the phone with him just moments before he was killed by Zimmerman.
