Third Suspect In Ahmaud Arbery Case Arrested

Georgia Bureau of Investigations announced today that a third suspect, William “Roddie” Bryan was arrested as a suspect in Arbery’s slaying. Bryan recorded the video of Arbery’s brutal murder. Bryan is being charged with felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.

The GBI stated that the charges stem from the incident that occurred on Feb.23,2020 in Glynn County, GA in which Roddie claims he was only a witness to the slaying and had no involvement in the incident between the McMichaels and Arbery, Gregory and Travis McMichael were charged and taken into custody earlier this month and are being held with no bond for Arbery’s murder.

Ryan alleges that once his video was leaked and went viral he became in fear for his life after receiving death threats.

Ryan has been under investigation by the GBI and initially was named in the police report for allegedly trying to block Ahmaud during the chase while he was jogging. He has denied these allegations.
