Jacksonville Rapper Yungeen Ace Released from Jail After Posting Bail

Keyanta Bullard, better known as Yungeen Ace, was released from jail on Tuesday after posting bail. His bond was set at $150,003, and he only had to pay 10% of the bond amount to secure his release.

Bullard is facing charges related to the possession of a firearm, weapon, or ammunition by a convicted felon in Florida. Police documents identify him as a known gang member, a fact he has openly acknowledged throughout his music career.

As part of his release conditions, Bullard has been ordered to have no contact with other gang members, with the exception of his mother. It is likely that the witnesses mentioned in the arrest report are the passengers who were in the car with him at the time of the incident.

This isn’t Bullard’s first encounter with law enforcement. He was previously arrested in June 2018 for attempted robbery. Following several incidents, including a shooting at the Town Center in June 2018 where three individuals, including his younger brother, were killed, Bullard relocated from Jacksonville to Texas. While he had hinted at a possible return to Jacksonville, he had not been seen in the area for years until his recent arrest.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Bullard was a passenger in an SUV that failed to stop at a four-way stop sign intersection. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Malquis Warthen, 24, was arrested for driving with a suspended, canceled, or revoked license.
