Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has issued a response to the recent lawsuit filed against the rapper, emphasizing that it’s solely an employment claim for monetary compensation without any sexual harassment allegations. Spiro assures that they will address the matter in court.
The lawsuit accuses Megan Thee Stallion of harassment by a former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, who claims he was trapped in a car with the rapper while she engaged in sexual activity with another woman. Garcia alleges that following this incident in Ibiza, Spain, in 2022, his pay structure was modified, and he faced differential treatment. He further claims that Roc Nation informed him in June 2023 that his services were no longer required.
In response to the lawsuit, Garcia’s attorney, Ron Zambrano, condemned Megan’s behavior, demanding compensation for his client and condemning what he described as sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct. Zambrano emphasized that Garcia should never have been subjected to such inappropriate situations while working for Megan.
Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion continues to prepare for her Hot Girl Summer Tour scheduled to commence on May 14. Despite the legal dispute, her single “Hiss” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in February.
Adding to the discourse, rapper 50 Cent expressed his opinion on the lawsuit, criticizing the cameraman and his lawyer for the allegations. He argued that such incidents, involving two women engaging in intimate behavior, shouldn’t be offensive and suggested that the case should be dismissed.
