Father of KSoo Faces Dilemma: Testifying Against His Son

Abdul Robinson Sr., the father of KSoo, has made a controversial decision to testify against his own son in a high-profile murder case, acknowledging that doing so feels worse than killing him. Despite the potential consequences, including life sentences, Robinson Sr. is determined to cooperate with prosecutors.

The case involves both of Robinson Sr.’s sons: Hakeem Robinson, charged with first-degree murder, and Abdul Robinson Jr., charged with second-degree murder. Additionally, Robinson Sr. himself faces charges as an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.

The incident in question dates back to 2020 when off-duty police officers witnessed Hakeem and Abdul Robinson participating in a drive-by shooting. After a pursuit, the vehicles crashed, and the suspects fled. It is alleged that Robinson Sr. drove KSoo to the location where the crime occurred.

Further investigations revealed that the father and sons duo broke into a home, held the homeowner hostage, and stole clothes to alter their identities. Notably, KSoo’s album cover in 2019 featured photographs of murder victims, adding to the complexity of the case.

In response to criticism for his decision to testify against his son, Robinson Sr. defended his actions, stating that he would have done the same to protect his father if the roles were reversed. He emphasized the importance of supporting family members, especially if they are innocent, and expressed confidence in his decision to cooperate with authorities.
