Former NBA Player Joe Smith Leaves Home Following Wife’s OnlyFans Confession and Dispute

Former NBA player Joe Smith has reportedly left his home following his wife’s revelation about her OnlyFans account. The disclosure was made by Smith’s wife of five years, Kisha Chavis, who told TMZ that her husband has been feeling extremely angered since learning about her involvement with the adult platform.

In a video that quickly gained viral attention, the former basketball player, known for his stints with 12 NBA teams over his 16-year career, can be seen turning away from his wife, who was recording, expressing disbelief at her presence on the platform known for adult content.

Chavis, holding the camera in the now-viral video, declared, “Okay, I have an OnlyFans page, and he is mad because he is just now finding out about it.” She continued, “But I’m not doing it with anybody but myself, so why should I have to tell you? My choice, my body. My body, my [expletive] choice. Joe, I have been talking to you about many things, I’ve been asking for a solution for [expletive], you not giving me one so I created one.”

Expressing his discontent with the situation, Smith replied, “That’s no solution. Not in my book.” In response, Chavis retorted, “You knew who the [expletive] I was when you met me,” alluding to her previous career as an adult star before their marriage.

Since the release of the video, Chavis revealed that she and Smith are no longer communicating, and Smith is reportedly staying at his sister’s house. Chavis explained that she initially started her OnlyFans account to assist the couple during a financial struggle brought about by the pandemic.

Chavis told TMZ, “I’m just sorry that he can’t understand that […] it wasn’t a selfish decision. It was a decision that I made. I made an executive decision when my man wasn’t taking the lead. I really love Joe.”

When asked about the possibility of divorce, she stated, “You know, if that’s what it has to be, that’s what it has to be,” but added, “But, I don’t think we’ll have a divorce, I don’t think so. I think he’ll come around.” The current status of the couple’s relationship remains unclear.

It’s worth noting that Chavis is not the first celebrity to turn to OnlyFans for additional income. Notable figures such as Cardi B also joined the platform back in September 2020, as she announced on Twitter, garnering 40,000 likes.
