Julio Foolio recently provided an update on his well-being after reportedly being shot in Jacksonville, Florida, during the weekend. According to reports by WTLV-TV, the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday (October 7). Sources disclosed that Foolio, known offstage as Charles Jones, sustained serious injuries as his black Dodge Challenger was reportedly sprayed with bullets. He was swiftly transported to a local medical facility for treatment.
In relation to the shooting, it has been indicated that the rapper has chosen not to cooperate with law enforcement. Nevertheless, a distressing image, purportedly showing Julio Foolio’s foot with a conspicuous bullet wound, has circulated widely on various online platforms.
The rapper’s family initially addressed the incident on his Instagram Story, urging well-wishers to keep Julio Foolio in their prayers, acknowledging that he had been targeted in his hometown.
Subsequently, his family provided a positive update on his condition, sharing a photograph of the artist in the hospital with a caption asserting his well-being, stating, “Yall know he good.”
This latest shooting incident is not the first time that Julio Foolio has been targeted. In 2021, he claimed to have miraculously evaded a hundred shots in an earlier attack, which he attributed to divine intervention. His past experiences with gun violence have also been incorporated into the lyrics of his rival, Yungeen Ace.
Moreover, Julio Foolio made headlines recently due to a dispute involving YK Osiris. The Def Jam rapper refuted claims that he disclosed the location of fellow rapper NBA YoungBoy during a feud in 2019. Osiris emphasized his desire to remain uninvolved in any confrontations and distanced himself from any such allegations, urging others to do the same.
