Cardi B Subpoenas Tasha K’s Banks in Pursuit of $4M Defamation Lawsuit Judgment

Cardi B is taking further action to recover the funds owed to her by Tasha K. According to recent documents obtained by Radar Online on August 28, Cardi B has issued subpoenas to all five of Tasha’s current banks, seeking financial information.

The subpoenas request “all documents and communications received by or sent to third parties other than the Debtor, including but not limited to the Internal Revenue Service, regarding the Debtor’s finances, employment, income, expenses, businesses or business interests.”

This development comes in the wake of Tasha K’s bankruptcy filing, which resulted in a court order for Cardi B to suspend her efforts to collect the $4 million owed to her.

On August 24, new documents revealed that Tasha K offered Cardi B a settlement of only $220,000, which Cardi B rejected. The Grammy-winning rapper initially sued the vlogger in 2019 for making false statements, including accusations of herpes, using a beer bottle as a sex toy, prostitution, and cocaine abuse.

In January, Cardi B won the case and was awarded $2.5 million in damages and $1.3 million in legal fees. However, Tasha K’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing states that she only has $95 in her Chase Bank account.

Tasha K’s personal possessions, including bags, vehicles, attire, her engagement ring, and properties related to her business, amount to a total of $58,595.56. Currently, she is not facing eviction from her home.

Tasha K has admitted to intentionally spreading false information about Cardi B to benefit her YouTube platform’s business interests. Cardi B is determined to pursue the owed judgment and is using legal means to obtain the necessary financial information to support her case.
